I have a springer precision trigger in the 4.5 frame and since it was fitted to my 4.5 slide, it is not as good of a trigger with a different slide. Just make sure you are switching just XDm's in the same caliber. But you should be able to interchange the 9mm and .40S&W. I've heard that .45ACP's have bigger frames and slides.
